The 'mis-match', or 'separates' in suiting is becoming more and more popular amongst men for many reasons.

The perfect option for those who like to mix and match, and get the most out of their clothing.  Wearing separates not only breathes new life and interest into your existing suit collection but also creates numerous outfit combinations that you would have never had before.

We have included our favourite non-matching blazer and trouser combinations that most men will have lying in their wardrobe.

Navy Jacket with Beige Trousers

A navy jacket with beige trousers is one of the most full proof colour combinations. It is just as suitable in summer as it is in winter and any style of jackets works well. If you want more of a dressed down look then beige slim-fitting chinos will work well too.

Grey Jacket with Navy Trousers

This combination is perfect for both formal and informal events and the great thing about this look is that any man can successfully pull it off. Whether worn to the office or out for a late lunch on the week these masculine tones will ensure you are right on trend.

Coloured Blazers with White Trousers

This summer-ready look is much harder to pull off and is only encouraged to the bold and daring. The white in the trousers will offset the colour in the blazer, creating a nice balance so the colour is not too overpowering. This is a much more casual combination and gives off a European elegance which is great for a summer wedding. To pull this whole look together roll up the hem of your trousers and wear sockless loafers.
